GS 233056 382 Nieuwe trekker / New Tractor either
Nieuwe trekker / New Tractor

This is our new tractor, it is a TM190 with supersteer. It
has 650/65R42 singles on the back and 540/65R30 tires in the
front.

Re: Nieuwe trekker / New Tractor

I am going to slide the wheels out in the spring to allow
6ft swaths to fit between the wheels for cutting alfalfa
with a 16' discbine. Even wih the 119" axles, the axles are
too short to be able to mount axle duals, even with 20.8
tires.

Not bad. Figuring on it pulling the new TMR?

Take care,

Hey Gerard,

Love those tires!! Nice and meaty!! Makes it look awesome!!
No special questions at the moment, but as usual lots of
pics in action please? It will be nice to have the extra
ponies & torque for pulling the draghose, and cutting
alfalfa too!!

Take care,

Will

Re: Nieuwe trekker / New Tractor
hoeveel steekassen verslijten jullie?

Re: Nieuwe trekker / New Tractor
Yeah, this tractor will be the main tractor for the new TMR,
but it will also do all the work the TM140 did in the past.
For the draghose I don't need more power but it is going to
be great for the discbine. There will be action pics, but
not many for a while...

Re: Nieuwe trekker / New Tractor
why the tm 190 in stead of the 7720?
what was better
would have looked nice those 2 JD's on the farm but it will
have it's reasons.

Re: Nieuwe trekker / New Tractor
Gerard, nice pictures as always and nice new toy you've got
there. :-P I love the tires as well(Will mentioned them)!
What is the sticker on the front window still?

I know SuperSteer won't benefit in your operation but it's on it,
and it does add a cool factor to it. You said somewhere that
you have a square baler, large or small? Will the TM190 be
running it? You should have a lot more HP for pulling the
silage trailer as well.

Degryse, see thread(link), With the 7720 they would have
been running all green(7210,7720,8120,544H).

Re: Nieuwe trekker / New Tractor

Re: Nieuwe trekker / New Tractor
i think those tyres aren't wide at all i would take more
somthing like 650/650 R42 al least you can do anything with
those.

Re: Nieuwe trekker / New Tractor
Degryse,
The TM190 was $20,000 canadian (14,000 euros?) cheaper than
a 7720 without IVT. So more power for less money and a nicer
transmission in the TM. Works for me. The mechanical
hydraulics controls on the 7720 were poorly placed too.

Josh,
Already trying to peel the stupid stickr off, it just won't
stay in one piece so i got a few little corners off. Gonna
try to heat it up, maybe the glue will let go easier.
We don't have a baler, must have been someone else. It will
be very nice for dumptrailer work.

Sjoerd,

Had 90

Re: Nieuwe trekker / New Tractor
iedere trekker heeft ze :-P (correct me if i'm wrong)

Re: Nieuwe trekker / New Tractor
Gerard, ok I had been pretty sure it was you with the baler as
they said something about the only bales they use are squares
that they toss for the heifers. But if not you, I've no idea who it
was.

I guess you are going to have to change your avatar now? :-P
Now you gotta include your new toy... Should include the 7210
and skid steers. By the way, do you have any pics of the skid
steers, don't recall seeing them? Since you have the 544H and
two loader tractors, what are you using them for?
There are times where I would like one, but it would really just be
a toy. Used a Case 85XT around the farm a few years back, and
I was able to do more cycles with the 85XT than my dad could do
with the Cat 931 (we were both loading the end dump from either
side. Unfortunately I can't find any pictures...

Another request, do you happen to have pictures of the IVT
in the 7710? You said how it was mounted differently on the
'20 series from the '10 series and I was just curious what
the controls were like.

Re: Nieuwe trekker / New Tractor
Hey Gerard,

$20,000 cheaper without IVT, what are they charging for
IVT? Saving that kind if money is huge, especially when you
are talking about the PQ vs NH!!

Wow, what a deal eh!! Are you still demoing mixers? Or
have you decided yet?

Take care,

Will

Re: Nieuwe trekker / New Tractor
Haven't taken pics of the skidsteers, nothing special about
them...
But here is part of the LS170. This skidsteer does about 700
hrs/year. We use it to clean up leftover feed from the cows
and bring it to the heifers every morning, push in the feed
a couple times a day. We also use it to put sawdust in the
freestalls twice a week with a HLA sideslinger. Generally
handle the large square bales with it. Unload the wagons of
bales and with it we can bring large squares of straw right
into the strawpens. It does a lot of odd jobs to like
lifting stuff, which you can see in the pic. We also have a
manure scraper for it for the open front heifer barn. Also
have a stone fork for it which we also use as a manure fork.
We use it so much we can never do without.
The LS255 is tiny, looks like the current LS125 skidsteer.
has a bucket but we have a manure scraper on it 99% of the
time to scrape the slats during milking. Keeps the hoves a
lot healthier and everything cleaner. Also used to clean the
horse stalls, but then we dump into the payloader or 8120
bucket.

I have to get some better pics of the TM190 when the weather
is better, with better lighting. Then I can redo the avatar.

I never took pics of the IVT controls in the 7710 and really
regret that since they are not that common. Basically the
same lever on a raised and textured hump in place of the
regular transmission controls. I'll have to look around and
see if i can find some that other people took.

IVT is a $7000 option! was only $4000 on the 7710. Seems
those tractors have gotten way too expensive now. We have
basically decided on the mixer. The supreme will be too
tall, 99% certain that we will order a jaylor this week.
