So these tractors are pretty much the same. Can anyone tell
me any differences in these two like transmissions or
anything? Which one do you think would win in a pull off?

The transmissions are slightly different. The ratios are a
little different and the tranny on the 2425 is much easier
to operate, it takes much less effort. The shift pattern is
the same though, high-medium-low ranges with 4 gears in
each. The engines are supposed to be the same output, but
the engine on the 2425 has a different fuel delivery system,
not exactly sure how, but I believe more is done
electronically. The 2425 is more fuel efficient, but I also
believe that it has less power than the 9882. The 9882
would win in a pull off, in my opinion.
