Midwest corn harvest
I just posted about 2005 planting. Now time for harvest.
All most all of our corn was replanted in late May because
of rot. It was making 150-160 bu/ac which is great for
replanted corn. Test weight was 57-60 lbs/bu and moisture
was 17-18% out of the field. In fact, we just finished corn
harvest yesterday, Dec. 13. We had about 1000 acres of corn
out this year and 3000 beans. In the pict you see a JD 9600
with a 12 row 20 in head and an 8820 with an 8 row 20 in

background, the home farm.
