Those are tough goats !!

How heavy are these goats ? They look very strong and
muscled.

I had Toggenburger goats, which are medium sized and built
stronger than a Saanen goat, but these Boer goats are very,
very strong !! :-)

Are they bred for the meat, or also for milking ?

Yes, this is a very tough breed. Bred mainly for the drier
regions of South Africa, but can adapt to other areas as
well. Very fertile too and is mainly bred for its meat.

How heavy do these goats get ? 60 kg ?? I think my
Toggenburger goats didnt weigh more than 25 to 30 kg...

The ewes are about 60-70 kg and the rams 80-120 kg. Much
heavier than any other goats I know of !!
