few years ago ;-)

Re: Hindustan 50 w_loader - 2002
Some sort of license from the old Zetor 25 perhaps?

Re: Hindustan 50 w_loader - 2002
I think these are indeed license build Zetor tractors. The big one looks like a Zetor Super 50 and the small a like a Zetor 25A. As far as I can see are the bonnet and the nose the same as the original Zetor. The frontaxle on the big model also looks like Zetor.

Would be great if the bonnet and nose are exactly the same, at many original Zetor Super and 25 tractors the tinwork has been damaged. Then you can use the Hindustan tinwork. I hope to buy a Zetor Super 50 in the future, maybe next year ;-)

Good luck on that Edwin!
Got a question for you Edwin, already mentioned it in another post, but guess you did'nt read it.
Do you have documentary on Nedalo tractors?
They were sixcylinder conversions on 6X ford 5000 models.
I know not that many were build but i'd like to now more about them.

Re: Hindustan 50 w_loader - 2002
I've never heard of Nedalo but I'll take a looke in my archives, maybe I'll find out something. I don't think there's any information about them on the internet. Did you ever see a picture of it? With cast iron subframe like Eva??

Re: Hindustan 50 w_loader - 2002
@Edwin: only saw a picture of it once. Only info i have on them is as follows. Based on the 6x 5000('64-'68), engine is a Ford 2703E Dorset. The engine was supported by 2 lenghts of steel plate, not like the castiron hull that EVA used. A bit similar to the sidemembers used by on the Ford 8100.
Picture i saw was black and white so i don't know the real colours, but my guess is a white bonnet and darkblue for the engine and rearaxle.
Hope you can do somthing with this info.

Re: Hindustan 50 w_loader - 2002
Seems like a conversion of a local dealer. The 2703E engine was also used the EVA conversions. There are a lot of dealers who did such conversions.

@ Edwin: There is a picture of the Nedalo in the book: The Ford Tractor Story Part 2 by Stuart Gibbard.

Re: Hindustan 50 w_loader - 2002
Could be Kevanos. All i know is that Nedalo was a Dutch firm which converted sixcylinder Ford truckengines into the 6X 5000 tractor due to the demand for more horspower than the 65 hp build from 1964/1968. In 1968 Ford came out with the 8000 which from 1970, together with the new 7000 model, could fill the need for bigger tractors in the Netherlands, but that was a rather small market at that time so not that many were sold. Now a lot of 8000 tractors are imported here because they've become a popular classic and some are used for tractorpulling also. It's my dream to have one myself some day
