The saw bench was behind the pile of soil and we needed it
,so i tried to reach over the soil but i couldnt reach. So i
took the loader round to the side of the soil and took the
corner of the pile away so i could get closer the the bench
and maybe reach and lift it out. It worked and i got the saw
bench out.

Re: Claas
Weve only had this one for about two months and had no
problems with it. From talking to people with newer machines
they love them. We spoke to the Claas technician and he said
the Targos werent as reliable as the Ranger, but the new
Claas range is proving to be alot more reliable(Scorpion)
now that they are produced by Kramer.

Re: Claas
I think were going to wait and try them at silage time, we
dont usually use them on the pit but its a good test for
them.

Re: Claas
Ye good idea to test them, wich do u like the best your JCB
or your Manituos?

Re: Claas
the jcb is a better machine on reliability, strength and
visibility but the manitous are nicer to drive. The joystick
on the manitou is very light to use, after 12 hours stacking
straw with the jcb it gets sore.

Re: Claas
You didnt manage to get the PTO on the 65 working then ?
What type of saw bench is that and is it any good? must be
better than a chainsaw!

Re: Claas
Hi
We did get the p.t.o working, but we thought it would be
safer and faster to use the ts-a. The saw bench is a
Lawrence Edwards ,with a 24" blade. The saw is safer and
faster than a chainsaw for the wood we were cutting. The
only problem is is the nails, if u hit one the balde needs
re-sharpening with a file. We cut 4 bucket fulls off wood
with it with no problems, even tho the saw bench hadnt been
run for 5 years.
