Re: Harvesting wheat in sasketchewan
very nice, but do you realy need that camara on the roof?
or is it more neccesary with another job than with the grain
cart? because you can see the inside of the bugy prety good
from the combine.

Re: Harvesting wheat in sasketchewan
But i think it is easier for the grain cart operator to have
the possibility to look into the grain cart when unloading
on the go and the combine operator can focus the header and
all the monitors.

Re: Harvesting wheat in sasketchewan
I agree with that, but a camara is not cheap, so I thought
that the combine operater could give some direction to the
tractor operater, that`s how most of the people work, but i
realize that if you do so many acres it is very easy and
also when filling up a semi you can see how much is left in
the buggy.
but it sticks out prety far, never had problems that you
hitted a tree or something ?

Re: Harvesting wheat in sasketchewan
I think they have the camera on the cab for unloading the
buggy into a semi or wagon.
My neighbour has a camera on his grain buggy as well, and
ive ran that thing a couple falls, and it sure is nice when
unloading into a wgaon or truck, you can see how full the
wagon is without getting out of the tractor and you never
spill any grain anymore.
he got the idea from us, since we have a camera on our self
propelled forage harvester, we use it to look into/above the
dumpcarts/semis when harvestig, sure saves the neck. now you
look on the screen how full the wagon/trailer is, otherwise
youre sittin with your head turned all day.
