What speed will this machine do? The 272 syncro we had would
do about 21mph. I have read that the 272H can reach speeds
27% faster than the 272.

What a poor unloved tractor she looks now When they first
came out in the early seventes they looked so smart
i think they look beter without the cab so sleek i rember
the first to be sold in lichfield after the old nuffield
they were so bright and modern

We have a 272h (1978) and according to the chart on the
tractor itcan do about 30M.P.H flat out. We have followed it
in the car at speeds of about 50 km/h. It is not
recommended however to use 5th High, as it tends to cause
the crown wheels to break (we've done our in once and was
told it only happens to the 272H by our dealer)
