Hay the old way
Some old machines cutting and raking hay. Seen in Central
Alberta, 2006.

is the door of the tractor on the rake on the backside of
the cab, and if so why are these cabs made like this?

Looks like the door goes out the back.
To be honest I don't know why. I just saw those tractors
driving by. I believe there was not enough room to make it
on the front/leftside corner. Maybe somebody here knows more
about those tractors?

This is the way those prairie tractors were setup. They
were only used for pulling, their was no need for 3 point
hitch system, so there was room to get on the tractors from
the back.

The reasson that the door is at the backside by this Case,
is that this is a weatland tractor. And the have no step on
the left or right side of the tractor to step up. The
fenders from this tractors are round and goes in the same
circle of the wheels.

Lot's of work anyway's on this 930. Some sheetmetal is
missed and not everything is straight :-\

Here a same weatland 930. but now without a cab. And you can
see, there is no way to step op on te side of it.

The first tractor is not a wheatland special it is a comfort
king and the door is on the side,notice it has a window open
on the back thefore making the door on the side post 251479
is a wheatland special not the comfort King
