there around LA all the dairys are that size for a long
time,they are milking 3 times and takes 7-7.5 hr each time.

those farms there east of LA dont have any land at all to
grew crops,because there is 1 dairy next to another.
there buying all there feed,hay and all kinds of "waste"
from fruit like almond,oranges,cotton to get some proteins

Are you sure this is a farm?I think I would call it a low
cost milkfactory.How boring it must be to work on a place
like that compered with a traditional famelyfarm and how
destroying it is for the ecomomy for all the famelyfarms..

And the milkers are probably some underpayd illegal
imigrants from Mexico and the people who earn the money on
this is the stockowners in LA I quess.

There are 600 dutch jerseys near me in north wales! they
are all outdoors summer and winter! they even milk them
outside! with a rotary parlour, only the milking guys get a
roof over there heads!

the feed storage,besides hay they feed a kind of leftovers from the fruit and veggie production like for exp.cotton(skin).orange and almond throw away.
