Could you tell me what the name is of the factory that make
these rings for in the rims to add duals please? It is
wierd, you realy only see them in France on almost every
tractor, also only the French drive most of the time on
duals.. especially when seeding, preparing for seeding etc..

yes, that system is a Somac, I don't find the internet site,
i was in think they have one ...
you have also the Ermas system ( www.ermas.fr ) with "
tendeur" (english word ? lol)

ik dacht dact dat molcon was met blokjes in de velgen
gelast, met 3 of 5 haken die daar dan in haken, op deze foto
zie je de blokjes in het achterwiel ( foto staat trouwens
wel ergens op de site denk ik)

je hebt gelijk maar het was maar een gokje, wij hebben dat
systeem ook maar dan meet een hele ring in de velg, werkt
prima als je ze maar goed aandraaid, anders klapperen ze
totdat ze bij een vernauwing komen die voorkomt dat ze door
de ring heen draaien

I think those rings are only for big tractors who can't
bring all their traction over on the surface. In the USA
they're using an extra flange on a longer axle where they
can put another wheel on. In that way the original tires and
the duals have individual drive. which kan bear a lot more
strength.
The rings we're used to use in the Netherlands are only used
to spread the weight of the tractor for better soil
conditions, and not for bringing over traction on the duals.

powershift 18/8 ;-)

@MF8480: those dual are using for better soil conditions
too, not specialy for the traction ;-) I'm in think that
the dual using in north america have't got the same utily
than in europe, they are "row-crop" system. ;-)
