Maybe, an 8210...
Okey guy's, this in not a JD, but I have to post some pics
anyway :-P

It is a 7710 from the beginnig.. longer frame and longer
bonnet. I was afraid for making the bonnet too long, but it
seems to be right.....

Regards
Mattias

Re: Maybe, an 8210...
Michiel; I use the same type of plastic that they use on
cars before painting. I don't know the english word for
it... :-[

Epoxyharsh is that. In the Dutch it is plamuur.

aan dat giet ijzer?

Re: Maybe, an 8210...
If You look at the first pic you can see that i have glue
plasticcard inside the bonnet for the strength. The piece in
the frame is plexi. I think it will be strong enough ;-)

Re: Maybe, an 8210...
Michiel,

Teneerste is het geen gietijzer.

Als je de foto´s goed bekijkt, zie je dat hij versteviging
heeft aangebracht in de motorkap.

Ga er maar van uit dat hij bij het chassis ook gedaan heeft.

I explained Michiel you did use something to make the hood
and chassis stronger. And not just used plaster. Or did you
use
polyester?

Its a plaster that i used for the finish, the same at the
frame.

Re: Maybe, an 8210...
I think it is mutch to long for a 8210 the original model of
the 7710 from britains was a tw 20 and that is quite the
same lenght of a 8210.

Re: Maybe, an 8210...
Yes, your completley rigth so far, but the britains tw20 is
to short for a tw20, but perfekt for an 7710! The bonnet on
the 8210 are nearly the same as 7710, exept the plastic
piece in front of the cabin.

Re: Maybe, an 8210...
Det kan nog bli bra det där, ge dig inte i första taget! Jag
hittade inga mått på potatislådorna men det var bra bilder.
I´d like the most tractor brands but there are 3 specials,
look in my avantar! The second is Volvo BM, Valmet and
Valtra! Ford and John Deere is very nice too. But I´m not a
fan fo NH... ;-)

Re: Maybe, an 8210...
No, i'm not a NH fan eiter, we have two NH;s at the
farm,7740 and a 8340, they are nice but it isnt Ford! I
prefered the 8210 we had before the 8340, an -84, first
generation, with homebuildt fronthitch, trelleborg 650
allover, turbocharged and tested to 118 hp p.t.o!! That was
a real iron!
It is everey swedes duty to honour Volvo BM! ;-)

Hmmm, det var ju synd, hade för mig att det fanns mått där,
men när jag kollade närmare såg jag att det visst var hel
annat dom måttsatte...attans....
Nej då, ja ger mig då inte så lätt -s-
