Re: Svedala Elefant
I do actually!
The Svedala Elefant was manily a forestry machine.

The most interesting feature of the Elefant tractor was that
the frame of the tractor could be tillted forwards as the
wheels were mounted on a boggie. This provided exellent
terrain capacities when used in forrest.

The tractor was made by the Svedala works in Sweden during
1959-1965. It has a 7 litre scania diesel of max. 120 hp.
It was a skid steer tractor. Weight 6000kg.
Litterature claims ploughing capacities of 1 hectar/hour,
discing 3 hectars/hour, and cultivating 4 hectar/hour.

Re: Svedala Elefant
I have to disagree on the tilting possibility. As I have
seen it described the body of the tractor could't bee
tilted, rather i could bee moved forward and back
hydraulicly in relation to the wheels and that way it was
possible to change the proportion of weight on front and
back axle.
