Re: 4700
Deere doesn't offer the sp sprayers in Europe at the
moment,
but they are introducing one in the next year: they've
showed one prototype a few years ago in France I believe, it
had a 5020-series cab...

Re: 4700
Actually, you can buy JD selfp. sprayers in Europe, for example in Hungary. Our neigbour also have one 4710. They spray 16000 hectars (not acres) with it in a year, for march to october in every crop. sometimes more than 400 ha/day. it is an amazing machine...

Re: 4700
kardosferenc 400 ha in a day! I find that a bit hard to believe.

A mate of mine is a spraying contractor here & with everything in his favour (weather, close filling up point for water, minimal shifting between paddocks / fields, minimal changing of chemicals, etc) his best days have been 230 - 240 ha (& that was doing Roundup, on firm ground).

He has a Mitsubishi Canter 4wd truck with a 20 metre boom.

Re: 4700
400 ha is correct. it can work at 25-30 km/h, and with lower volume rates, it can easily cover 40-50 ha in an hour (27m, 90 feet boom), and in a long day it can reach (or exceid) the 400 ha. If I remember well, the most was 470 ha, or something similar...

no, the Hungarian dealer offer the 4720, and 4930 sprayers in general. They also exported it Ukraine and Romania too.
