540 horses pushing this dozer blade will work quick, so you

Hey Renze,

Last day I saw a Tatra truck near my town. Don't know the
model. Sure it was and old one but is prety close to the one
of the first pic. :-)

How many tons can handle that beauty?
Looks really big

Re: Nothing beats Czech engineering
Will this do for a liquid manure tanker??

Tatra trucks, with their patented independent halfshaft
axles, and central load carrying tube, will perform just
better in any kind of rough terrain.

Go to their website, www.tatra.cz and click one of the
videos. The video called "Jamal in terrain" shows some
Tatras performing REAL ROUGH jobs in a sand pit...
See and admire....

The first one is a T 163
If the one you saw is dog nose type, it must be a T137 or
T138. They look somewhat like the new T 163.
The T138 is built from 1959.

The Jamal:

WEIGHT
Kerb weight 14 800 kg
Payload 23 200 kg
GVW 38 000 kg
Front axle max. permissible load 8 000 kg
Rear axles max. permissible load 2 x15 000 kg

The tank transporter has an MTU V12, 840 hp, and a Twin-Disc
10 speed auto tranny. It can pull a 120 ton tank trailer
through the desert sand...
