Nice collection there,
you finisht that tractor in no time!
Made a top job there Keith.
Looks like its a '72 model, whats the history on it?
Mine come off a small beef farm way back in '96 when they
sold up. Its a March '73 produced machine, only really got
round to doing much restoration work to it in the last
couple of months.
I'm guessing you're from Scotland......South Devon here.
Registered 10/71 had a duncans cab which I didnt want. Began
life on a farm in Perthshire (scotland) for first 2-3 years
before being bought by the father of our clubs chairman and
set to work in the woods where it's spent the rest of it's
life. Last 12 years or so was spent with another owner but
still working in the woods and he's also a club member. Was
sold to JP Wilson then brought back up here by another club
member before being sold to me. So know more or less full
history. Mechanically sound so restoration was more or less
cosmetic apart from huge dent in wallet from buying 4 new
tyres. Mechanic to trade so access to workhop tools and
handy with a spray gun so half the battle. Still need to
fabricate a pair of new wings and footplates but in no rush.
Enjoying playing with it for now at working weekends. Not
intended to be a showroom piece, wheres the fun in that?
