Re: New R75 on assembly line
Both AGCO combines; the Gleaner and the Massey Ferguson were
moved from Independence, MO in September of 2000. This new
model of Gleaner was released this fall of 2002.

Re: New R75 on assembly line
Have these been field tested by any farmers yet? I wonder if
they are improved over the other R model Gleaners. I hear
that the cab is a major improvement, but just wondering if
the performance is any better than the other Gleaners.
Thanks

Re: New R75 on assembly line
There are some minor improvements. There is a new
transmission from what the R-2 Series had. Lance, you are
correct that most of the improvements are in the cab and
electronics. Most speeds of all shafts can be toggled in
the cab and the fan choke and cylinder speed can be adjusted
with the touch of a switch, the measurements are seen in the
LCD display. These have been in engineering test over the
past three years. There was one each of the R75 and R65, I
believe. Has anyone been in a cab yet? It is twice as
quiet as the old cabs from the R-2 Series. :-)

Re: New R75 on assembly line
Those are some real good changes. No need to change what is
the best combine in the industry! Nah I haven't been inside
one of these babies, but I have heard lots of talk of how
much improved the cab is. Thanx for the info.

and well improved.
