Stop concentrating for a couple of seconds to admire the
neighbours contracting and . . . . . . . . . oops ! :-[

Nothing a bit of black tape cant fix though ! :-)

Taken this summer (2005) after 1st cut.

Owain, who wrapped these bales?? he only has 1 layer of
wrap!! you need at least 3 (unless you are wrapping straw
to keep it dry outside;-)) Otherwise its not enough to get
the silage "cooking". if there was 4/5 layers this never
would have happened!! (its not your fault) just the tight
bugger who buys the wrap!! Unless you triple wrap this kind
of (dry/spikey) silage you will certainly get holes in the
wrap either with the handler or by dropping them on a hard
surface and the grass in the bale pokes out. so, not "oh
dear" just "silliy billy" at the wynnstay store thinking
of saving money but wasting it instead!!!
