Ford 7810 Silver Edition.
Re: Ford 7810 Silver Edition
do you now how mach tractors are making in this jubileum
silver edition ??

Re: Ford 7810 Silver Edition
These Silver Edition models were for the 25 years jubileum
of the Ford plant in Antwerpen. Not very many were built.

Re: Ford 7810 Silver Edition
I think they were actualy made to celibrate 25 years of
production in Basildon, England.
Not sure how many were made though, sorry. I do know that
the pain finish was rubbish, they rust very easily !

Re: Ford 7810 Silver Edition
I think there were about 200 made. We have one which was
very difficult to find without rust! There was one at
auction last Sat 1-3-06 that made £27000. Seriously! It was
supposed to be very good with around 2500 hours.
Re: Ford 7810 Silver Edition
Sorry, I meant to say 1-4-06.
Re: Ford 7810 Silver Edition
acording to "classic tractor" magazine (not me) (there
was a "silver jubbile special" this month) all these
silver ones were built in 1989 and they made 1 for every
dealer showroom (approx 150 were built) the optitions
included air con, 4spools , performance monitor and front
weights the price for the standard (blue)top end 7810 was
£27,665 or (£26,789 without extras) but the silver one was
only £22,500 and also included a free brass model of the
7810!! because it was "give-away special price" anyways,
because no one wanted the silver ones they started to rust
in the dealers yards so the were selling them for only
£18,000!!!!! just to get rid of them! but by now they ar
selling for £30,000 plus!!!!! the best one to be sold at
auction (a few months ago) made £27,615 plus v.a.t a
total of £32,447!!!
Re: Ford 7810 Silver Edition
I also read it. Did you see that picture of the Ford 7810
silver Jubilee in Holland?? I took that picture a few years
ago :-D

If the story is correct only about 150 were made only for
the English dealers. But the one I took a picture of a few
years ago was new bought at the local dealer, in Holland.
The same owner has recently bought a second silver Ford

Re: Ford 7810 Silver Edition
nice one Edwin;-) why do they pay £30,000 for what is
basically a blue 7810 painted silver??? i am going to make
my own silver jubilee with silver hamerite and buggered
7810 series II, then sell it for £30,000 and buy proper
Re: Ford 7810 Silver Edition
I like the scalemodel of it more (stands also in the Classic
Tractor) ;-)
