Do you know if the liquid manure pump was a Patz.

Re: Hauling manure
thx Tony,
they sure where nice back then anyway.

just a bit akward was that the 4250 with the FEL was not a PS, but the other, the 4450 had powershift.

i'am pretty sure that pump was a Patz, cause these where custom guys wich usually have the good stuff.

Re: Hauling manure
Great pics jdeere.

I drove a lot with a JD 4450 with powershift 15 years ago by a contractor in my area.

Re: Hauling manure
back then they where about the best for transmission and easy shifting.(not like the Magnum).

later on a other farm we had also a 4850 plus two 4450 with FEL and both with PS.

Sorry jdeere, but i have no pics from the JD 4450.
Actually in this time i was 17 years old and haven't no photo camera for myself. The JD 4450 was manufactured in 1985.

HP1600 baler?
To bad there aren't more people like jdeere who found the camera very early?
jdeere: do you have an estimate how many pics you ever made?

Re: Hauling manure
roughly i can count them togeter.

first 18 months in Canada i filled 55 films,most 24 exp.some 36 exp.
before two summers in Denmark maybe 20 à 24.
second time in CND about 10 in 6 months after that i was 6 months in Australia and two in NZ,wich are about 18 à 24.then back to Canada another 8.
then second time AUS,10 again.
then travelt about 7 times for vacation to CND wich filled everytime about 5-6 films.
now for about three years i have the digi cam and shot even more of corse.
have a pic somewhere from my stack of pics wich are on paper.

Yes Gerbert it was a HP 1600 baler with steel-wire rolls above the baler.
I know it's bad, but early i was very happy to drive with the JD 4450. In this time was the JD 4450 a very big tractor, and only contractors owns this JD's. And don't forget i was 17 years and now i am almost 33 years.
This contractor used this JD 4450 also for harvesting sugarbeets with a Gilles harverster ( front and back on the tractor ).
