Re: Australian Ford
Hey FordFarmer.

These Fw series Ford from downunder was made by Waltanna in
Victoria. The first two models were Fw25 and Fw35, based on
the Tw25 and Tw35, made with modifications on the frontaxle,
sourced from a Ford D62 wheeled loader. The cabs was made in
Australia - like the onced used on the Ford 8401 and GS88
Grain special. Four bigger models were included in the line
up during 1986, using Catepillar engines. The whole thing
come to an end in 1987 when Ford acquired Versatile and New
Holland.

Re: Australian Ford
Wow, that is a mutt if ever one was. TW hood, Massey cab, Oliver/MM 2655/A4T-1600 frame and loader axles. I know its an accidental thread digup from past, but someone look and tell me I'm wrong.
