Re: 9370
Hi jdeere
That steiger Series are nice tractors. I did some custom seeding for a neighbor who was late getting in the field because of wet conditions. He has a 9380, nice but I like our 4994 like this one, it pulls the same, but its paid for. Too bad the engine went, but with 12,000 hours on it it ows me nothing.:-D

Re: 9370
Hi jdeere
to rebuild the engine would cost about $4,500.00 but the people recomended that with that much use out of it it is almost better to find another one, but like the tractor itès a hard engine to come by. At one point I thought about sticking a Cummins 855 in it, but in the last year about 3 case 4994ès have come up for sale at auctions in our area with low hours so Ièm hoping for one to pop up.:-\

Re: 9370
well,if you can get a low hour one would be good, but how is the rest of yours?
4,500 $ is not to bad to get the motor done.
