Re: Bizon Rekord
I like this rekord. Quite new one!
In the cab, there is a bottle of oil? Were the brakes
leaking? I have heard it is common in Z058? Am I right Alex?
Re: Bizon Rekord
Leaking brakes are a problem on Z058s, which have a tractor
style hydraulic system. I bought a 3 year old 58 in 1994
which had a leaking master cylinder. Z056s have mechanical
brakes which act on the driveshafts, and are virtually
trouble free.
Re: Bizon Rekord
The brakes in Z056 are really poor :-( Only the hand-brake
works properly. Problably it concerns olny old models but I
am not sure (however, there were no changes of braking
mechanism in new models)
As the hand-brake mechanism is working more efficient, I saw
that some owners connected the hand-brake mechanism with
pedal for leg-brake :-\
Re: Bizon Rekord
I wouldn't say that the brakes on a Z056 are really poor,
but they're not as good as a Z058. Having said that, I have
to add that I really don't like the brake & clutch pedals on
58s. They're far too high up off the floor and I don't like
the way they look. The 56, on the other hand, has much
better pedals. What do you think?
Re: Bizon Rekord
That's true. I have driven Z058 only once (sorry I am only
21 and I can say I know Z056 personally but Z058 only from
opinions of my friends :-)
The brake & clutch pedals on 58s were really too high up off
the floor. It is tiring to use them.
The 56 has much better pedals (appearance & maintenance) but
you have to be careful harvesting on the hills :-\
