Re: ford 5950T
Treurniet, do you have more pictures about that first Ford
5950T. It's maybe an Belgium EVA conversion.

The Ford 8100 is an conversion by EVA, Andenne Belgium. EVA
converted existing Ford's by a 6 cylinder Ford industrial
engine and their cast iron subframe.

Re: ford 5950T

Re: ford 5950T
The Ford 8100 was made by County for Ford. not EVA. It uses
a derated 8700 engine mated to a 6700 backend. The frontaxle
was turned around to make the wheelbase shorter.

Re: ford 5950T
JH you are totaly wrong the 8100 was build by EVA in belgium
with the ford 2715E engine also known as dorset engine. The
one that was build by county with 8700 engine and 6700 back
end was the 8200

Re: ford 5950T
According to the Ford tractor Story 1964/99 book the 8100
was built by County using the industrail 2715e engine ,
County thougt they would get a better tractor using the
derated TW engine has used in the 1174/1184 models which
used the 7600 back end. In doing this they created the 8200
with a Shindler 4wd axle , they built this until the 8210
was launched in 1982

Re: ford 5950T
The Ford 8100 was indeed converted by EVA with a 2714 and
later 2715E Ford industrial engine. The 8200 is converted by
County.

Die 8100 staat te koop in Polen, heb hem ook zien staan. Als
je zo eens rondkijkt op de Poolse 2dehands landbouwmachine
sites kom je veel trekkers en machines tegen waar bijstaat
importada z hollande of importada z Belgia of zoiets ;-)

Re: ford 5950T
The 8100 was launched in June 1978 may be in Europe you had
the model early than this and was made by EVA and the
British ones were built by County. In the UK the models such
as the 5095 6,500 7400 sold by Ford Europe never came to the
UK . Ford in the UK did not like the 6 conversions being
done on the 5000/7600 etc and discouraged them. Ernest Doe
made the 5100 and bought all the parts came from EVA but
only 5 were built. The model came out the same year has the
7000 and Ford did not like the idea. Both County and
Roadless thought about making a two wheel 6 cylinder but did
not want to up set their supply of skid units for there 4wd
models and never pushed the idea.

Re: ford 5950T
The 8100 was made by County using the 2714 or 2715 Dorset
6,0 L Engine. Depending on the destination
The later 8200 used the 6,6 L engine and the idea of this
was made by SEM - sout Essex motors, with the Schindler
axles. The 8200 model lastet only two years before being
replaced by the series 10 tractors back in late 1981.
