C-IH rice straw "stomper" in flooded field
Case International amphibious tractor testing? No, this is
what we have come up with in California (imagine that) to
help us decompose our rice straw that remains in the field
after harvest. Increased regulations from bureaucrats only
allow us to burn 25% of our fields, and we have to do
something to get rid of the 3-4 tons of straw that remains
per acre. This seems to be the cheapest, and works much
better than disking or chiseling the residue back into the
soil. If you like this picture, I have more pictures of
modern tractors set-up nearly like this one, JD, etc.

Re: C-IH rice straw
Have this fields been flooded by man, or by nature?
What's the purpose? Flooding the fields, and then rolling
the straw ?
