Re: Snow falling
Hi Roy,

How much snow did you receive? They are saying we have a
chance for maybe an inch or so tonight.

There is about 4-5" of snow on the ground and they are still
a few flurries out there, but I think for the most part it
is over. We are going to get real cold tonight somewhere
down around 0 with N wind, so that is to look forward too.

How are things going at school this semester? What is your
major? Do you plan on coming back to the farm and production
agriculture when you finish? Just curious. :-|

Re: Snow falling
Hi Roy,

Sounds veeeeery cold in your area, brrrrrrrrrrrrr. LOL.
School is going great so far. Just started back last
Wednesday. I have not decided my major yet, but I likely
will go w/Business Adminsitration. Probably will declare in
the next couple of weeks. I'd really like to start my own
farm, but I am not sure about that yet. Land just costs way
too much these days. Maybe I can have myself a business
selling farm toys, and do some carpet farming.:-)
Thanks for asking.

Where are you located Roy? I am from south central KY and we
have got about 3 inches so far, but I believe the worst is
over.

I know that Ky and Missouri have lots of similiarities in
certain regions, and I have noticed by your pictures that
farm operations there where you are located are similiar to
ours here in S. Mo by tractor size and the equipment you
use. some years back farmers from this area went into the
Fulton, Ky area for dairy equipment, I believe it was
located in the J.D. dealership there. Also your land outlay
looks a lot like it does here

Re: Snow falling
Roy,
I am originally from Leitchfield, but I am at school right
now at Western Kentucky which is located in Bowling Green.
Leitchfield is about 75 miles Southwest of Lousville.
Bowling Green is 60 miles north of Nashville TN.
