Re: Massey Ferguson 65X

Re: Massey Ferguson 65X
Hello guys:-)!

I never heart about an MF 65X, it's a new fact for me. As I
know there was an MF 65 Mk1 and an MF 65 Mk2. The biggest
difference is the engine:

The Mk1 has the Perkins-engine 4-A-192 with an displacement
of 192 ci or 3.153 cm³, it has a head with swirl chamber,
the performance was 50.5 bhp.

The Mk2 has the Perkins-engine A4.203 with direct injection,
the displacement is a little bit higher, 203.5 ci or 3.335
cm³, the great performance was 56 bhp up to 58 PS-SAE or 56
PS-DIN in Germany.

Re: Massey Ferguson 65X
Franz, is it possible that the 65X is a model with
differ.lock? because my MF 35X is the MF35 with an different
engine (A3.152) indirect injection, and differ.lock.

Re: Massey Ferguson 65X
My old 65mkII had a diff-lock.
I had not heard of a 65X either. Perhaps it was French or
American built?

Re: Massey Ferguson 65X
I think that's a mistake :-[

But a 65X really exists, the 65X was built in Brasil. I
think they were only sold in Brasil.

Re: Massey Ferguson 65X
Hello guys:-)!

In my files the MF 65 Mk1 and the Mk2, both models, have an
diff lock. Or they are wrong:-\.

The MF 35X, made in Coventry, has the Perkins engine A3.152
with 44.5 bhp at 2,250 rpm. And there was the
"Multi-Power"-transmission as a new option available. But
this tractor was not sold in Germany. There was the normally
MF 35 with 37 PS-DIN at 1,720 rpm. It was striktly forbitten
to run more than 20 kph, so the engine was throttled to that
low perfomance.

Yes, there was an MF 65X built in Brazil, that's right. Here
is a pic.
