Yeah is good and strong tractor 94hp. When it was young work
about 800-1100hrs on sugarbeet transport.now it has about
24000hrs but the engine rebuilded before 5000hrs.

Re: Fiat 1000 DT
New Holland IS Fiat. They are now back to using mainly Iveco
new generation engine from EEA or whatever they choose to
call themselves. These are the new engines with the timing
gears at the rear.
You can see that the tractors are all Fiat by just looking
at the front and back axles which look very much like Fiat
axles from the mid 1980's and like the 780 and Winner
series.

Re: Fiat 1000 DT
Maybe you are right.I don`t know a lot of things about that
but for me NH follow the ford ideology. When the NH have the
`60 series and fiatagri M series i can not decide who is who
but from the time when the fiatagri is gonne thats very sad
for the fiat history.

gearboxes i think? but case has perkins I dont really know
(or care) to me they are red new holland or blue case not
much is different from the outside or inside!! the TSA is

Re: Fiat 1000 DT
ZETORMATIC, you mean that Case is New-Holland, for now, but
I heard that NH and Case are going to be different tractor's
because they now see that not every one is happy that Case
NH is.

Re: Fiat 1000 DT
There are no Perkins used in CNH products that I know of
except the loose link that Ishikawajima Machine and Screw
Company [ISM] engines made in Japan and used used in NH
skiddies assembled in the USA are built as the Perkins 100
series under license in the UK for use in JCB products among
others.

As for the transmissions, they are Fiat. The Winner based
transmission is still the base transmission used in TM
tractors like the Classic models, whether basic synchro or
Dual Command with power-shuttle. Most models use the Fiat
Liftomatic lower link sensing on mechanical models and a
system very similar to the Winner on electronic sensing
models but with more Bosch components.
Now that the Powerstar engine is doomed, the only vestige of
old Ford design left is the Electroshift based four speed
powershift on TSa models. Everything else is CNH [read that
as Fiat] design and build, wherever it is machined and
assembled.

Re: Fiat 1000 DT
Yes, Fiat tractors are built under license in many countries
and some are even branded as NH. I think that this one may
be built in Turkey? Anyhow the current NH TDD and equivilent
Case model of entry level tractors up to 100 hp are built by
Turk tractors on back axles based on 1960's era Fiat
tractors [as used also by Universal] which have bull gear
reductions. These pre-date the 680/780 ranges of the late
1970's but the latest budget tractors are a backward step to
this historic age. Nevertheless they are just what some
people want and are as much as others can manage and budget
for. They still have a market.

Re: Fiat 1000 DT
About the Fiat 1000/1300 tractors. I thought one of these
models was built in France for Fiat. Does someone knows wich
of these models?? Of course there were also license built
Fiat tractors by Someca, only for the French market.
