we grow lots of oats!! to feed to sheep and some dry cows as
well you just feed it whole no need to crush it.

here some farmers are using oat like a carrier for the green
pea (for the sillage)

Yes my neighbour does this as well, but he has problems
with "direct cut" header on forager blocking (because of
oats) so he has put triticale this year and no oats, we
will have to see if it was a good idea!!
