Re: Bizon BS Z110
The Bizon album has had 148 pictures posted to date. Other
combine albums have the following number of pictures: John
Deere-456; New Holland-559; Claas-225; Gleaner-271; Massey
Ferguson-154. Have either of you gentlemen complained about
any of these? Likewise, there are currently 102 Ursus
pictures. Compare this to Case-1475, Deutz-495, Ford-432,
IH-398, Allis-380, Fendt-1587, Renault-293, Valtra-750,
Fiat-433, JD-2482, New Holland-791, Same-244 and Zetor-358.
So it's OK to post 2482 JD tractor pictures, but not OK to
post 148 Bizon pictures? I have another 20-40 Bizon pictures
to post, then that will be it for the foreseeable future. I
am only interested in Bizon & Ursus (and, to a lesser
extent, Zetor), but I am happy to see pictures of other
subjects. After all, this is an open group. I note from your
e-mail addresses that you two gentlemen appear to be from
Denmark. If so, I would to mention that Denmark has
imported over 600 Bizon combines since the 1970s, plus many
more Ursus tractors. Denmark is one of around 24 countries
around the world to have taken these machines.

Re: Bizon BS Z110
I have to agree w/Alex on this one. Although I have never
heard of Bizon combines (correct me if I spelled that
wrong), he makes a good point. I'm American, but I enjoy
viuewing photos from other countries, no matter what make.
Keep up the good work Alex, nice photos by the way.

Re: Bizon BS Z110
We only wear kilts for weddings and things like that. Not
like you suit wearing gay boys. :-P

Re: Bizon BS Z110
Also, if you wear a kilt to a dance the lassies go mad for
them. You have to beat them off with a stick!! ;-)

Re: Bizon BS Z110
You may call it a kilt, but at the end of the day it's still
a skirt and, where I live, only women wear skirts.

Alex, keep the photos coming !!

What engines did these combines have?
The magnificent 6.8 liter Zetor/ZTS engine ?? I have also
heard of a 6.8 liter Leyland.

Re: Bizon BS Z110
hey alex, about the combines, of the other brands, you post
all the pictures of bizon within 6/7 weeks, and those other
brands are not posted in 6/7 weeks, the problem is, you are
irritating us with al those pictures on just a ?"short"?
period.

But where are those Bizon combines made? And in which

Re: Bizon BS Z110
If you knew anything about kilts you would know they are not
like skirts. They are one flat piece of material like a rug
which you wrap around your waste and fasten with a buckel.
You englishmen are girls!

Re: Bizon BS Z110
I am from the clan Buchannon. Im not slagging off the
English as such, just the clueless ones. This however does
appear to be about 90% of them. I know some very nice
English people, I used to show cows at the Royal show in
Stoneleigh and the Great Yorkshire show in Harrogate. :-)

Re: Bizon BS Z110
All Bizon combines have been fitted with Polish licence
built 6 cylinder Leyland engines:

The Leyland O.400 6.54 litre unit (known in Poland as the
SW400/R3) has been fitted in the following models: Z040
(105hp); Z043 (100hp); Z050 (105hp), Z056 & Z057 (115hp).

The turbocharged version of the above engine (known in
Poland as the 6CT-107/R4) has been fitted in the Z058
(125hp), Z110 (177hp-first few examples only, as it was
underpowered) and the Dynamic (150hp).

The Leyland O.680 11.1 litre turbocharged unit (known as the
SW680) has been fitted in the Z060, Z083 & later Z110s (all
220hp).

These engines are built by a company called Andoria (part of
aircraft manufacturer PZL). A licence to build these engines
was bought from Leyland in 1966.
