BIG V 310631 75 4 Combines either
4 Combines
Another busy day on Parkland Farms. The Case IH dealer in
forest brought there new AFX 8010 to the farm and made us
take her for a spin. Mr. Park is not a big fan of CASE IH
but hey theres another 36 ft to help take wheat off. We were
combining in a 200 acre field and it had taken us about 6 or
7 hours with our three 9660sts and this afx. It was a great
site to see all these machines working. I was driving our
7710 Deere pulling the header for that big beast. It was
4-wd and had duals. I still like our John Deere combines
much better but it was nice to see that big combine. All
questions are welcome.

Re: 4 Combines
The 7710 I realy like driving this tractor. These are a
perfect size tractor for all size operations. We also a 7510
with a loader.

Re: 4 Combines
Josh, it's me again! very nice pictures!!
Why did you like better the 9660STS than the AFX8010?
Why your boss don't like very much Case IH?
You're right 7710, 7720, 7810 & 7820 tractors are very
versatile, they fit well in almost any operation.

Re: 4 Combines
great pictures again josh. but why don't you guys like the
case combine? there won't be very much difference i guess
between a John Deere, Case or New Holland.

keep posting...

Re: 4 Combines
Hey, thanks for all the comments and questions. I am not a
big fan of CASE IH just because I like John Deere so much
and Deere fans cant like Case. Case IH does make great
equipment and I have nothing against them but I cant say
enough great things about John Deere. My boss is the same
way and he was raised with Case but he just likes John Deere
for its quality and service to him. John Deere and Case are
not the same but I see what you mean because combines are
basicaly the same through out the brands. Thanks again.

Re: 4 Combines
yes that's just what i ment, and i truly agree with your
preferences for john deere, i'm a john deere fan too:-D but
i won't dislike to drive a couple days on a new NH or Case
combine:-P but ya, a deere would be great. i have to combine
our wheat with a case combine. to bad it's not a jd, we
almost bought a jd combine though, but we bid just couple
hundred dollars to less:-(

Re: 4 Combines
Josh, I'm a great John Deere fan, for me is the best!! but I
don't dislike Case IH equipment, what I dislike is New
Holland because they bought Case IH and the red tractors
have less quality now (for example the JX series tractors)
Is it too difficult to ride a combine?
John Deere rules!!!

Re: 4 Combines
it won't be difficult to drive a combine, once you start it
up the only thing you do is keep it in the track, and turn
at the ends, and move the header up and down at the ends.
i'm going to drive a combine for the first time in 2 weeks
from now:-) lookin forward to it.

Re: 4 Combines
Rony, thanks for answering. Please take some photos of the
combine you're going to drive. What brand and model is the
combine?

Re: 4 Combines
Josh: Nice pictures but I dont think you need a 140 horse power tractor to move header wagons around.
