profitrac 319235 112 IH 1246 either
During the 70s the 1246 was the flagship of the European IH
factories. This one was produced in St. Dizier/France. It is
one of the later samples with the large Timmerman cab used
from 1976 on. First cabs were painted white. Red and black
colours were used since the end of 1977.
The turbocharged six cylinder engine DT-358 with 120 hp was
manufactured in Neuss/Germany, the almost fully synchronized
transmission bought by ZF Passau. Neuss plant produced the
1246, too, but used different cabs.
