RED JOHN DEERE

Yes John Deere painted some tractors a color other then
green. This was to show customers they could paint the
tractors another color. This tractor is on display in
Moline Illinois.

Bob

My first time to see a red J.D., did not know such a
tractor existed, Do you know what size this tractor is?
Looks like a 330, but not to many of them around.

Re: RED JD
Jose and Roy

A little history on the red 330 Utility:
Gasoline, Serial #330082
Assembly Date: 24 Sept 1958
Finish Date: 28 Sept 1958
Ship Date: 1 Oct 1958
Only 252 Model 330 Utility's were built
Original Base Price: approx. $2200
This tractor was painted red while being built at the
Dubuque, IA factory. Deere & Company used it for
advertising purposes to show municipal counties and state
governments that the company would paint a tractor any color
that they desired.
Owned by Lee Zylstra of Alta, Iowa
:-)

Thanks Sarah for the history of this unique tractor.;-)
