Re: 3010
Nice pictures! That reminds me of the 510 (Diesel) we had on
our farm. I believe the 510 was really a 2510, maybe you can
confirm this. Maybe they sold the 2510 as a 510 in Canada.
One of our neighbors had a 710,and most of the dairy farmers
in our area were only driving the "great green
tractor".(which is still the case in 2006) We also had a
John Deere dealer in our little town.

510 and 710 where german built,1010 and 2010 wich are
similar in size are from the US.
today up to the 6000 series are from the EU,the bigger ones
are American.

for sure an 20 serie? looks like an 30 serie to me, whith the big steering wheel.
maybe you should check your engine numbers, if it shows 303 its an 3120, or else it must be a 329, from the 3130

Nice tractor Tom.

Robin good observation, but it's definitely a 3120 with likely a 3130's steering wheel. The hoods on the 3130 are a lot different.

the first 3130 tractors got the 20 series hood, take a look at this tread: http://www.farmphoto.com/fpv2/thread.aspx?mid=263838
that one was for sure a 3130, with older styling.
some people in europe use 3120 decals on their tractor, so they can ask more money for it if the sell it /:)

Ofcourse this is a 3130!! It was forsale at marktplaats.nl.. I told that gay that this tractor is a 3130 but he don't believe me. He said to me it is a 3120.

Thats wrong!!! There are a lot of diference between 3120 and 3130. And far as I could see is this tractor not a 3120.

Relax guys !! No panic, i know what i bought, as far i can see this tractor is a 3120 front (engine) and a 3130 rear. (achterbrug) But im not 100% sure jet. I'm very much at my work lately, selling cranes and buckets, and track-chains etc. so i havent looked seriously. But i know one thing, its a beautyful green and yella'fella, ands its going to run very nice when im done whit it! ;;)

Ofcourse it could be a front from a 3120 and a back from a 3130.

But it's a nice tractor!! Originel rollbar and all sheetmetals are in good condition far as I could see?

Succes with restauration..;-)
