MF 290
This is a 1985 MF 290. Used to be used to cut silage untill
2005 when a 390 was bought for that task. Its a very nice
tractor, I've used it to spread slurry with the vacuum
tanker and also for general transport of trailers etc. Was
taken a year ago for the farmer who wanted to sell it but
still hasnt got round to doing so :-P

Re: MF 290
The cab on that tractor is the same cab that is on the farms
275. The only change that i know of is the seat, as the
original one fell to bits :-p

Re: MF 290
It is what is commonly known as the Sankey cab. In the UK at
one time there was a choice of Sankey [made by GKN/Sankey]
or the Duncan cab.

Re: MF 290
In Norway the last/newest 200 series also had Sankey cab,
but we didn't have Duncan cabs. Instead we had Lambourn
before Sankey came on the marked in 1984. The first 200
series had Swedish Sepson cab, who was offered only with
front windshield and roof, or fully equipped with windows
and doors at extra cost.
