camouflage colored Zetor...
This Zetor was marketed in South America. Because of the
many civil wars there, the tractors were painted in army
green camouflage colors, for this part of the world only..

They look better in red, dont they ???;-)
Re: camouflage colored Zetor...
This tractor was sold here in Catalonia a few years ago. The
small model was the 2000, with a 10/10 tranny and a 3
cilinder 45 HP engine. the biggest model was the 2900, with
a 16/4 tranny with HI-LO and a 4 cilinder turbo 103 HP.

Was the tranny JD or Zetor? and the engine?
They use this engines, don't know if they are JD or Zetor,

3 cilinder - 2697cm3 - 45 HP
4 cilinder - 3456cm3 - 57 HP
4 cilinder - 3595cm3 - 63 HP
4 cilinder - 3922cm3 - 69 HP
4 cilinder - 3922cm3 - 78 HP (turbo)
4 cilinder - 4156cm3 - 82-92-103 HP (turbo)

What do you think is the most reliable?

Re: camouflage colored Zetor...
Thank you for this technicals datas

Do you know this tractor on the picture I'm think its also a

Do you know John Deere 3000 series make by Renault?
Re: camouflage colored Zetor...
its a 2400 ain't it?

painting them green is true testomony to zetor quality

ultimate complement for them

(and i am NOT a John Deere fan!)

Re: camouflage colored Zetor...

Yep, those are Zetor engines.
It seems tha the green ones had the 10/10 shuttle tranny,
while it was an option over the 10/2 tranny in red...

The fact that they are painted green is indeed a compliment
for Zetor, but in the long run, these Zetors will be a
compliment for Deere...:-)
Re: camouflage colored Zetor...

reading old Deere brochures i noticed that the 50 series had
a 3920cm3 engine, models 2250,2450,2650 and model 5500N. I
was wondering if is the same engine with 3922cm3 in the 2000

Who knows it?
Re: camouflage colored Zetor...
