Re: New bunker for sale now
IS it possible to unload while harvesting?
That would be nice, but it's still a big weight that comes
to the end of the bunker with 7 tonnes in it.
We still stop to unload.

Re: New bunker for sale now
Michiel: Yes, no problem in that.. The bunker is so strong
buildt that we can do that.. Last year on a Demo-tour we did
unlod while harvestin with 7 km/Hour.. But yes your are
right.. It is heavy with 7 tons hanging on one side.. We did
harvest 40 tons more on a good day last year because we
should not stop to unload.. Thats nice..

Re: New bunker for sale now
Yeah it is! We own 2x SE150-60 and 1xSF150-60, but the SF
can do more load in his bunker. We think one of our Grimmes
will fall over some day, especially when it's wet on the
field and there's much sand in the bunker.
This new option would be great for us!

Re: New bunker for sale now
Our Grimme is a SE 170-60 because we have 90 cm from mid-row
to mid-row.. Then we can have wider tires on (Think it is
800mm tires, but not sure, will tjek tomorrow).. I will say
go for it... You will not regret.. How many hectares do you
harvest every year? We do 65 ha..

Re: New bunker for sale now
We do over 400 Ha. I thought, but I dunno for shure.
Does your harvester have traction on the rear wheels? One of
ours has it. In wet conditions its very usefull!

Re: New bunker for sale now
Michiel: Sorry for the late answer.. But, no we do not have
that wheels on our Grimme.. The wheels is size 710 mm wide..
Wery nise size i think. Wery stabil.. How many HP does the
"pulling-wheels" need for good work? I have heard the need
70-80 HP but i´m not sure, and here in DK it will cost about
15000 Euro´s to buildt on..

Re: New bunker for sale now
We had a JD 6920 pulling it, it has 150 HP but it was heavy
working for the Deere. Now we use 2 new 6920's on both
harvesters from 160 HP and AutoPWR, so that will work out
here.

Re: New bunker for sale now
I sat in a SF 150-60 last week and when the bunker is full
and lifted up as high as possible driving fairly fast over
the field it wobbles a lot! I never heared that it had
fallen over the weight must be distrubated good I think.

Re: New bunker for sale now
We also have a JD 6920S with AutoPwr.. The best gearbox for
a potatoeharvester..

Arcane: You did not drive fast with the Bunker lifted????
It´s the best way to kill it.. But yes, Grimme is wery
strong buildt.. Grimme rules..
Here in DK lot of Wühlmaus now for sale because farmers want
a Grimme..

Re: New bunker for sale now
I think it's a good move of Grimme to introduce a bunker
which can unload while harvesting because brands like Dewulf
already have the oppertunity to unload while harvesting.

Our SE 150-60 is for sale by the way...
We pulled it with a 95HP Valtra!

Next year we are growing onions instead of potatoes so the
harvester isnt usefull anymore. But its a very good machine
this Grimme. You can drive pretty fast (up to 8km/h) and
still deliver good work!

Re: New bunker for sale now
Remko: How old is that Grimme Harvester? By the way, did
you know that the word: Grimme, in Danish mean: Ugly........
But it ain´t true when we talk the harvester called:
Grimme.. That´s a beauty.. :-)
