Bruised and Battered old 1124
This is my old 1124. It will be coming into the workshop
over the winter for an overhaul. She has a non original
turbo in her at approx 140-150hp. I also have a bomford
front blade to fit on her.
Anyone know where I can get 'new' mudguards for her and a
'new' door. :-)

Re: Bruised and Battered old 1124
Scott,

I had the same problem with my 1004. Looked high & low for
wings and then came across some at a tractor breakers, they
were not originals but copies, albeit substantially made.
Alternatively you could try some of those Ford 5000 wings
you see advertised in the Classic Tractor mag.
For doors, again quite by chance I found some for sale in
the Freeads. They weren't first class but better than what
was already there.
Anyway the 1004 is in a transition period now running it
without the cab on. You'd be surprised how much quieter it
is like that.
