Newest Bizon Rekord Z058
Seen at the Bizon factory, about 70 miles north west of
Warsaw. This model has been in production since 1999, but
the 4.2 metre wide header shown here is about to be replaced
by two new (3.9 & 4.5 metre wide) headers.
Bizon was privatized in 1992 and was bought by New Holland
in June 1998.
Re: Newest Bizon Rekord Z058

Re: Newest Bizon Rekord Z058
Here are some Bizon production figures:

Z040- (1971-73): 2,752
Z043- (1979-81): 90
Z050- (1971-76): 11,530
Z056- (1976-November 1984): 33,975 (production ended in
Z058- (1980-November 1984: 961 (still in production).
Z060- (1976-November 1984): 557 (built until 1987?).

The peak year of production was 1991 (5,800 machines). I
don't have any figures for the Z057, Z083, BS Z110, Dynamic,
Sampo 2020 or tractor mounted Z020. Assuming that the annual
production rate between from 1985-91 was 5,000 a year, this
makes a total of 85,000. The current production rate is
about 1,000 a year. If I assume that about 7,000 were built
between 1992 & 2002, that makes a grand total of 92,000
Bizons built since 1971.

I have about 20 or so pictures left to post!
