Re: 6030 Deere
How come you add water tanks on the front of your tractors?
Is it for extra weight? or do you do something else with
them? I am just curious.

Re: 6030 Deere
Hello Chris. Those tanks are for herbicides. All of our
tanks hold 300 gallons which is usually somewhere around 280
gallons of water and 20 gallons of herbicides and
surfactants. These tanks feed spray equipment mounted
directly on the plows and/or cultivators via a pto-powered
pump. Now that we no-longer row crop, these tanks are rarely
used for their intended purpose so we just keep them about
half-full of water for ballast. Thanks for asking.

Re: 6030 Deere
Wonderful tractors John. You're right the 6030's with the
ROPS and canopy are the best looking. However, I would own

one regardless of cab or ROPS.
Take care
