JCBDriver 335624 155 Moffet MFT either
Moffet MFT
I hav'nt seen another one of these in ages, its a Moffet MFT
multi function tractor, we had it on demo from our then
local MF dealer Gibsons of Skipton for about 2 weeks in
early 1996 whilst we were waiting for a new MF 390T & loader
to arrive, it was based on a MF 390T skid unit and had
linkage ,P.T.O and spool valves as a normal tractor would
have but had a heavy duty loader mounted on the back as you
can see, I knew of another one localy based on a Ford 7840
skid unit but has been traded in 6 years ago. Do they still
made them, I wondered if some of the Irish based posters out
there might know one or two things about them as they were
built there.

Re: Moffet MFT
Hi

I know these machines from the past. We looked in to them in
the year 96 or something when we bought our loader to load
te mixerfeeder. I resently spook to our dealer who used to
sell these machines in Holland. He said that MF doesn't make
industrial tractors anymore. And the company who makes them
does make a lot of other lifting machinery and isn't very
much into agricultural. So they made a few on NH 7840 base
and then stoppted. The salesman said it was a shame because
they are really reliable and usefull machines for farm work,
because the back of a tractor is much stronger than the
front axle.
Just my little 2 cents and all i knwo about these funny
machines

Re: Moffet MFT

The take-along forklift division is taken over by HIAB and
co-operates with Kooi-Aap, a Dutch brand also owned by Hiab
