Re: Crop Pictures from New Zealand
They are actually crops Arjan & you very well know it. Thats what happens on farms, crops are grown to provide food for the population or seeds for others to plant.

Maybe you should look up farming or crops on GOOGLE, so that you learn something :-D

I don't see a farm. Crops can also grow in a garden and a garden isn't farmrelated.

vindictiveness :-D

Wikipedia wrote:
A crop is any plant that is grown in significant quantities to be harvested as food, livestock fodder, or for any other economic purpose. This category includes crop species as well as agricultural techniques related to cropping.

There are many types of crops that are used for industrial purposes. For example, cash crops, are grown and harvested for the sole purpose of making profit, as they are grown in large amounts in a certain area fitted for growing crops.

I hope this helps you & your mates understand that farming is about producing food not playing with tractors & earthmoving machines ;-)

To the moron who reviewed the first photo in this thread;

Check out this thread;

http://www.farmphoto.com/FPv2/thread.aspx?mid=514747#514747

These are also crops grown on a farm, including some PHACELIA. You will see if you do some research that this plant is not a GRASS as you claim but a GREEN MANURE crop.

There is a whole section of crop photos so maybe you will be busy reviewing these?

Why not show us some pics of the farming that happens on the Marshall Islands Arjan? Maybe it is just a bunch of grumpy old Dutchmen, sitting around whinging & moaning all the time :-D

Re: Crop Pictures from New Zealand
Yes, thanks Gurkan :-)

Is a pretty sad indictment on this wonderful site of ours when geniuine farming photos are getting peer reviewed, just to be nasty ( by someone who doesnt make any contributions to this wonderful site for over 4 months then comes back & makes trouble) :-\

Farming is about food production, whether it be growing crops to feed the population or seeds, so that others may grow food crops, medicinal or industrial crops, to benefit the population or raising livestock, to feed the population.

The sooner some people realise this & go off & play somewhere else on the internet, the better for us GENUINE farming enthusiasts I say :-)

Regards,

TC ;-)
