MF 8130 Tractor with Accord Airseeder. Longford, Tasmania,
July 1999.

This machine is set up to sow poppies on raised beds & on
conventional paddocks as well.

The fertilizer & seed are in the front bin & are blown to
the rear by a hydraulic driven fan & the ground wheel drive
visible.

The high analysis fertilizer is band placed through the
front tynes while the poppy seed & carrier fertilizer
(triple super / lime super mix) are sown through the red
Accord boots at the rear (5.5 inch / 13.75 row spacing).

The tractor is operating on narrow tyres to fit on the beds.

Re: Poppy drills
The same unit as the previous picture, set up with duals all
round, sowing poppies in a conventional seedbed.

Cressy, Tasmania, September 1999.

Superb flotation, in a wide range of conditions with the
front & rear duals.

Drilling poppies on raised beds, Perth, Tasmania, July 1999.

Rear view. The dust you can see blowing is from the Triple

boots.
