Volvo Payloader, JD 7820 & 7920 both with loaders.
Stopped by the neighbor's place on Sunday, did some feeding and some riding for him so I could try out his toys. :-)

This is a Volvo L180E, with a 7.5 Yard bucket (14 feet wide).

A quick shot from far away. The 7920 is in front of the TMR mixer, and the 7820 is loading.

Nice pics Josh. Nice to see pics with some snow on the ground, as it is approaching summer here in Australia (25 degrees C here today) :-)

Re: Volvo Payloader, JD 7820 & 7920 both with load
Hi, why are both JD's equipped with loaders if the man has an Volvo loader?

I hope you can understand my question, my English about technical things isn't so good

TasCowboy - Maybe nice for you to see, we're not appreciating it too much though, temperatures are around -20'C this week! :-)

KabouterPower - Your English is perfectly understandable, no problems there. He doesn't always have that Volvo on the farm, and with the 14-foot bucket it's too wide for loading silage, and he doesn't have any other attachments for it (can't handle bales or pallets). It's really just there right now for him to play with. Clear snow, etc.

He also has a John Deere 4955 without a loader, as well as a smaller (new) Volvo payloader, and that one has lots of attachments, anywhere from drills (augers) to forks, to spears, to bucket, and others.

As for having loaders on both the 7820 & 7920, it all comes down to, why not? Before he got his 7920, he had a valve problem on his 7820 front axle, and had to get a JD 3800 telehandler out to loader the mixer. And even with the 7920 on the mixer, he used both loaders when we were there, at the same time.

We have 3 tractors with loaders, a crawler loader, and we're looking at a new tractor, and it'll definately have a loader. I took the loader off our TM this summer, it was ridiculously useless.
