here I was mowing luzerne for the cows, that luzerne on youre picture is to combine I think?

Hi Jonas,

It is actually TRITICALE in my photo, which is a wheat / rye cross. It is grown for grain (used for stock feed, mainly for poultry & feedlotted cattle).

We grow LUCERNE, like yourself, for making into hay & silage, for feeding to cattle & sheep.

This is the same crop as in the first picture, but earlier on in the season.
