Re: fendt+containerhaak
You'll have to pull over & let the traffic get past :-)

Re: fendt+containerhaak
Still, alot of cars following it.

Over here in Tasmania (Australia) if you are driving tractors or associated slower moving machinery you have to pull over & let traffic pass you, when it is getting built up like that pic. Most of the main roads are wide enough that you can get on the edge & let them past but on some of the smaller country roads this isnt possible.

The police will book you if you dont let cars past, as it is causing a traffic hazard & potentially causing an accident (as cars try to overtake you when it isnt safe to do so, as they are sick of sitting behind slow moving machines).

This even applies to Fastracs & others like the Fendt's that do 55km / hr.

Re: fendt+containerhaak
In Belgium the disstances are short.
When you drive 2 kilometres behind such combination it is a long distance.

There is almost never room to stop en let the queue pass.

Re: fendt+containerhaak
Hi, in Elsass (east of France) it's the same than in Belgium, but I often witness dangerous overtaking attemps, that's why we try to stop as often as possible when we are driving on big roads, also to let the truckers do their work so that they don't lose too much time. Nevertheless the police tolerates the tractors that don't stop at the side.
have a nice day.

Re: fendt+containerhaak
In belgium, the speed limit on big roads like this one, is often 70km/h. When you're allowed to drive 90, the roads are bigger, so you can easily drive past these 'slow machines'. It isn't a big difference, driving 60 behind a tractor like this, or driving 70...

Re: fendt+containerhaak
You are (supposed) to let the traffic pass in the uk also (But No one does) If you dont go more than 100mph people think you are crazy (like them:-D) Even if you go 1million mph they still want to try and pass...........
