Re: MF 3085
i fucking hate those masseys especially 3085's. i was lugging silage in with a 3085 on a cold morning so draw bar thought it would join me in the warm cab when i was tipping in the pit

Re: MF 3085
I see no Problem with 3085 in fact would much prefer to drive it than a John Deere 6800 we have. John Deere very bumpy on road. Dynashift very handy on massey on left hand side

Ohh how I love a forum fight! masseys are good tractors (I think) never had one myself. (Hope to get one someday!) hard to belive massey was designing the dynashift/autotronic In the 1980's And still using it today:-)

Re: MF 3085
When my dad had a farm, he also had a MF 3085 with autotronic, realy nice tractor, never had trouble with it, only in the beginin, because it had to little power so we gave it a little bit more, instead of 100 engine HP it had 110 engine HP. Last 2 days we had at the MF dealer (were I do my co-op) tractor testing, also with a MF 3085, had a little bit less than the factory sayd it would have, but still the farmer couln't complain about the tractor because he was always cutting with a combination of 5 meters with only +/- 90 pto hp.

Re: MF 3085
I think sometimes the land/sea level can change the HP a little bit because of air altitude and stuff? I dont understand it much;-)
