Japanese Greens Seed Crop
Japanese (or Brassica) Greens Seed Crop, Cressy, Tasmania, December 2000.

This crop is at late flowering stage. The seed is exported to Asia & is grown under contract to South Pacific Seeds.

This is looking up one on the irrigation runs (aluminium irrigation pipe visible on the edge of the crop).
Re: Japanese Greens Seed Crop
This crop grows very much like Chinese Cabbage & Pak Choi & has a similar flower too. It ends up in Asian cooking (stir fry, etc), when it is grown as greens, not for seed.
Re: Japanese Greens Seed Crop
Another one of the same crop.
