Re: John Deere 7820 with Ih plow
Dave, why this tractor haves only one rear dual instead of two? the axle doesn't get damaged?
Greetings from Costa Rica.

Re: John Deere 7820 with Ih plow
Victor,
The have the dual on side because so they get more traction, since it is a one-way plow and only run in the furrow with the right side of the tractor.

Re: John Deere 7820 with Ih plow
I have seen farmers ploughing like this here in Tasmania, in wet winters & it seems to work quite well.

Some farmers have on land mouldboard ploughs, where they dont plough in the furrow at all. These guys can use duals on both rear wheels or even fron t & rear if they wish.

Most of the farmers have in furrow ploughs, so something like this can be extremely useful, as I said, in wet conditions.

It will help most of the times, we also did it when it was pretty wet with harvesting flowerbulbs in holland, put 1 dual on. always worked for us.

nice pics!
