Vraag het aan Ferdinand Dijkstra, hij zit hier ook op Farmph en is een grote Renault liefhebber, heeft zelf ook een Master en is zelf Claas dealer.

Re: Master 1 onderdelen
60/65 hp? I Think if the press is allmost full the renauld is nearley at 0 rpm..:-P
Also I think the oil pump doesn't have enough debet to run the sealer at acepteble speed, or am I wrong?:-\

It does look quite impressive though

An interesting combination of the old (tractor) & the new (baler) :-)

Re: Master 1 onderdelen
it works great! But when the press is filled, the master 1 go's slowly over the field:-P. He has not so much horse power.
58 hp.;-)

Re: Master 1 onderdelen
Hay and straw takes more hp than silage, because for hay the baler has to be opened to make the bales heavy. and for silage you close it to make the bales light. so there is more hay in the chamber here, so it takes more hp to turn the bale;-) But I guess here the litre-per-minute of the hydraulics is more of a problem than the hp?

Re: Master 1 onderdelen
Tough little devils those old Renaults. I used to run a Renault 781s with a Claas Rollant 62 round baler, it used to purr like a kitten with it. My neighbour had a Massey 690 ( similar hp to the 781 ) with a Rollant 44 behind it and it used to smoke its guts out and sound as if it was pulling a rotovator at full depth.I used to pull a 6.3 metre (63 tine) Kverneland spring tine with her, up hill and down dale without a murmur.
